On The Grand Strand, WAVE 104.1’s Marathon for Meals may be the only charity event that people actually seek out year after year before they are even asked to help.  For the last 16 years Wave 104.1 has responded to one of the most basic human needs, food.  Let's face it, if a child doesn't have enough to eat, everything else pretty much takes a back seat.

We will broadcast live daily from the Food Lion at 38th Avenue North in Myrtle Beach from Saturday, November 16th, through Friday, November 22nd.  We will be collecting non-perishables and hygene items for Helping Hand of Myrtle Beach and the Myrtle Beach Community Kitchen.
